Week in Review: 4.7-4.13

Welcome to my first official post since launching this blog on 4.10.25!
Prior to this, my primary way of documenting my adventures was Facebook, however my goal is to start using this as my primary platform, while still sharing on FB. As always, feedback is always welcome and comments are turned on!

Monday 4/7:
- Meetup: Career Chat Lunch @ Substrate - We talked about inspiring quotes and books and I learned about other organizations that help you meet people - Folx Table, (which seems similar to Time Left), and In the Loop. I don’t plan on using them, but figured I’d share.

Tuesday 4/8:
- Meetup: Best Pizza in Nashville @ Dicey’s Pizza & Tavern - One of the event series in my Meetup group is a quest to find the best pizza in Nashville. This month it was Dicey’s - Chicago-style thin crust pizza. It was good, but doesn’t win the award for my personal favorite, which as of now, is 5 Points Pizza.

Wednesday 4/9:
- Meetup: Nashville Sounds Baseball Game - They Won!
Fun fact from Wikipedia: The Nashville Sounds are a Minor League Baseball team of the International League and the Triple-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers.

Thursday 4/10:
- Marked: 3 months of Funemployment with this LinkedIn post!
- Launched this BLOG! (Finally!)
- Meetup: Escape Room Opry Mills - Gold Rush - We Won with 9 minutes to spare!

Friday 4/11:
- Meetup: Listening Room Cafe - One of the famous live music venues in town!

Saturday 4/12:
- Meetup: Coffee @ Land of 1000 Hills Coffee & Social - Love the vibe here!
- Meetup: Pool/Billiards 101 @ Ernie’s Boondock - Had a great lesson by one of our group regulars who hosted this event!
- Virtual Game Night with family - Played custom wordle, pictionary and for the first time with the kiddos - scattergories!

Sunday 4/13:
- Explored another new to me Tennessee State Park - Bledsoe Creek State Park - Did about 3 miles on the High Ridge to Shoreline Trail Loop.
- Meetup: Dining Around Town: Loveless Cafe - Read more about this Nashville Landmark here.
-
Popped by the Natchez Trace Parkway Bridge - According to Goggle it is also known as the Double Arch Bridge, is a double-arch concrete bridge that spans Birdsong Hollow on the Natchez Trace Parkway in Franklin, Tennessee. It's a notable landmark and a popular attraction due to its impressive design, height (155 feet above the valley), and stunning views. The bridge is 1,572 feet long and carries the parkway over State Route 96.

Hope this was inspirational in some way!
